I quit 6 months ago. I also smoked for nearly 10 years. Talk to your dr. and tell them you want to quit. mine perscribed chantix, which worked i guess, but it was still very difficult. i tried for a long time before succeeding. best advice is to decide for yourself what the easiest way for you to quit will be. best to have multiple quit aides in my opinion. also check out this stuff…

I used non-nicotine e-cig for a few months. it really helped just psychologically even though it had no nicotine. finally, go cold turkey off of nicotine. i think it is the easiest by far!! Cig companies make the gum, patch… anyways hardly anyone is successful with them. it only takes 72 hrs for your body to be free of the physical nicotine addiction, so it is a no brainer.

Build a time machine, go back 8 years and say no to cigarettes. Yeah, you didn’t think this through.

you will have to seek professional help or buy nicotine patches. When you do stop you will get sick because your body is going through withdrawl or something.

Every time somebody asks me this question , i answer the same.Put down that freakin’ box of cigarettes, and don’t buy another box.If you have a strong will, you won’t feel the need to smoke one.I know it is hard to resist the temptation, and nicotine withdrawal can cause various phisical conditions, but if you really want to stop smoking, you have to try really hard. There is another solution. It is called nicotine patch. Progressively reduce the amount of patches used, and your body will need less and less nicotine.

Alright, I’m going to let you in on the secret to quitting.

You STOP smoking. It’s freakin’ easy. You HAVE to WANT to stop smoking, or it will never work.

Eff the pills, the gums, the patch, or any drugs. Just STOP smoking. Don’t buy any more, don’t bum from friends, just stop smoking.

Yes, you go through withdrawal. Yes, you get irritable. Yes, you gain weight.

But it’s easy, JUST STOP SMOKING.
