What is the fastest and easiest way to quit smoking?

I am having surgery on January 9th, I literally have to completely quit tomorrow. I am on the patch, but I keep cheating and taking one or two puffs every few hours. It only totals to maybe 2 cigarettes a day, but I need to be completely smoke free to go under the anesthesia. I know its easy to say, just don’t do it, but I feel like I have no control, no willpower, no anything! I have been smoking 2 packs a day for 17 years. Do I have a chance?

Hi I,ve been smoking weed for 17 years almost every day…i want to stop now because its holding me back from some jobs due to drug tests. Problem is i cant sleep for like 2 weeks and get really ratty and the craving gets me everytime. Anyone got any tips for me?

I’m using the Nicorette inhaler to quit smoking. I’ve been smoking for 17 years and today was my first day of quitting and I did really good.
My question is what kind of changes can I expect in my body and when, even though I am still taking in a small amount of nicotine? If anyone knows, that would be great.

Hey, I’m only 17 years old, soon to be 18 and i am already 14-15 stone, now this is a little embarrassing, as i always get terrorized by other people that i don’t know, they are always calling me fat. I am 31 years old and after smoking for 17 years, I quit 4 months ago. Since then, I have had a sore throat, horseness, and it is very hard to breathe. I never had a problem with any of this before quitting. When does this end and is it normal?
